LEAH SUGERMAN

Leah Sugerman is a yoga teacher, writer, and passionate world traveler. An eternally grateful student, she has trained in countless schools and traditions of the practice and teaches a fusion of the styles she has studied with a strong emphasis on breath, awareness, and anatomical integrity. Leah teaches workshops, retreats, and yoga teacher trainings both internationally and online.

Food

Designed by Tswana chef and author of Taste of Botswana Ednah Rosen, our chef prepares delicious and nutritious local dishes, from healthy, gluten-free salads to veggies samosas and revitalising juices made with our garden's seasonal fruits.

Arrival

Arrive at Victoria Falls Airport and start your retreat with a guided tour of the magnificent Victoria Falls and yoga at sunset, followed by a peaceful evening at our partner lodge Shongwe Oasis.


Victoria Falls, known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya or "The Smoke That Thunders," is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Straddling the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe, it is the largest waterfall in the world based on combined width and height, creating a stunning and awe-inspiring spectacle.

Discover Chobe National Park

Begin your day with a nourishing continental breakfast before heading to Botswana. Enjoy an exciting boat cruise and game drive in Chobe National Park before settling down at Munga Plains for the night.


Chobe National Park boasts the world’s largest concentration of elephants, often seen in herds along the Chobe River. The park is also home to lions, leopards, buffaloes, and a variety of antelope species. Birdwatchers can delight in over 450 species of birds, making it a paradise for ornithologists.

Step into the wild

Start the day with a restorative yoga session followed by a nourishing buffet brunch. In the afternoon, head to the bush for a guided walking safari and watch the sunset with a drink in hand. After dinner, experience the thrill of the African wilderness at night.

Explore your inner self

In the morning, follow Leah on guided breathwork and yoga sessions. After lunch, embark on a thrilling safari adventure in Chobe National Park, home to the highest concentration of elephants in the world. Encounter diverse wildlife, from majestic lions and stealthy leopards to powerful buffalos and graceful giraffes.

Honor local traditions

After the daily yoga, meditation and breathwork sessions, take a guided village tour with the Basubiya people, followed by traditional dances and boma dinner around the fire pit.
